Marie-Harel

Hand-made soft ripened cheese white moulded from raw cow’s milk.  This Camembert is still produced hand ladled into the moulds according to the traditional manufacturing process. Its taste is rustic, full-bodied, sharp, frank.

Located in the heart of the Orcian grove since 1912, the cheese dairy Gillot is committed to perpetuate the original recipe of camembert, as initiated by Marie Harel, its creator. Crémeux with a slight note of undergrowth and taste on the palate that intensifies as it matures. The Camembert AOP Marie Harel is distinguished by the particular refinement of which it is the object.
